Happy Friday!!
Guess what?  Sketchy Friday has a new look!!!
Yes and I LOVE it....Make sure you stop by the blog, check it and say hello.
I just love this weeks sketch.
I even colored my image a little more in depth than I normally would.
Last time I attempted to color clouds was last year sometime.
I really need to keep practicing.
ANYWAYS.....Here is my card:

The image is Home Sweet Home
The sentiment is from Studio G, which I found randomly while looking for some ribbon in my boxes.
The paper is a perfect match too, it's MME: Gnome Sweet Gnome.
When you link your cards and projects, you have the chance to be the random winner of (1) of my digital stamps "SKdigis" or (2) if your project has one of my "SKdigis" digital stamps as the main image.  So come on join us this week.

IBSIC #48: Hello

Good day everyone-
Oh...What an eventful week this has been!!
How has your week been so far?  We have had amazing weather here lately too.
I think Spring is around the corner and I can't wait.

Today is another challenge week over at Inspired By Stamping.
Here is this weeks photo/color inspiration.
It definitely screams spring doesn't it.
I of course used the colors for my inspiration but I gravitated towards the round plate on the table, that has the glass dome on top of it.
Here is my card:
This beautiful layered flowered was cut out with my Silhouette.
I used Cute Circles, to stamp and embossed with clear embossing powder.  You can barely see it in both the pictures that I have taken but, trust me it's there!!!  LOL I also used the sentiment from the same set.
Here is a close up of the flower and stamp sentiment.  Paper is from MME and the butterfly is from Prima.
(I just noticed that I nicked one of my folds)
1 randomly selected winner this week will receive 2 package of flowers of their choice!

SweetStamps #106: Embossing Folder, Stamp and Die Cut(s)

Hello...hello...
It's been a few days without blogging!!  Not by choice, believe me!!
I've just been SUPER DUPER busy last week, which interrupted with my crafting schedule.
We are officially godparents....YEAH!!!
We had the baptism on Sunday and feel so blessed to have Mariah in our lives.

So today at Sweet Stamps we have a brand new challenge and it's a recipe challenge.
This week we are asking you to use the following items on your card and you MUST use all 3.

EMBOSSING FOLDER, STAMP and DIE CUT(S)

Here is my card sample for this weeks challenge:
Is this not so lovely!!  LOVE the silhouette image, it is so perfect for just about ant occasion and any special woman.   So I stamped the image on patterned paper from Prima Marketing: Rondelle, with tuxedo black Memento. Used several Spellbinders to create several other layers. I used Mini Fanciful Flourish and Mini Butterflies to decorate the right side of the image.
 Check out those rolled flowers.
I got my dies today and had to do a switch-a-roo really quick!!!  LOL
I'm so glad that I did because, it looks so good!!!
Here is a close up of those flowers and they are even sprinkled with stardust glitter but, it's not showing that well in the photo.

IBSIC #47: Congrats

Hello everyone-
Thank you for stopping by today.
It's time for another photo inspirational challenge at Inspired by Stamping.
Look at that beautiful picture!!  I love that purple bike and the tulle as window drapes.
Once  I saw the drapes I knew what I wanted to create and this is what I came up with.
I used a brick embossing folder to give the card more texture.
Used a number of die cuts for the window, stems and flowers.
Look in the window....I colored some white tulle by rubbing the distress ink pad to give it's color.
And yes, there is a piece of acetate in the window.  :)
Isn't it just beautiful?  It's perfect card for someone who just recently bought a house.
That is why I used the "Congrats" sentiment from the Cute Circles stamp set.
So join us for a chance of winning 2 Satin or Seam Binding Ribbon, winner's choice.

Before I leave you today, I want to let you know of a couple of other things that's happening at Inspired By Stamping.

Hello everyone-
Today I have a special post for you.
Inspired by Stamping is sponsoring Addicted to Stamping & More and we (the design team) are playing along with this weeks: VINTAGE theme.

Here is the card that I created for this weeks challenge:
I really love how this came out.  Love all the neutral colors, then the splash of color with the mini green pompoms.  Here is a closer look.
I used Fancy Labels Die #1  and cut kraft cardstock and patterned paper from KaisereCraft. I inked the kraft cardstock with walnut distress ink, just before stamping the sentiment from Cute Circles
Do you see that cute bird in cage.  My hubby found those and bought me lots of beautiful charms, while downtown a few weeks ago.  What a sweetheart...Gotta love him.

So I hope that you will join Addicted to Stamping & More this week for a chance to win $20 gift certificate to Inspired by Stamping, for some amazing goodies.

Simple Cards

Hello sweet friends.
Hope you enjoyed your day off yesterday.
I did a lot of crafting....Now all I have to do is wait for good lighting and take pictures of  all of them.
So today at Sweet Stamps, we have a new challenge for you.
This weeks theme is:
Clean and Simple
Now, just recently Sweet Stamps, released some amazing new stamps.
I mean AMAZING!!!!
Today I am showcasing 4 for of the new floral stamps.
These have been stamped with distress ink embossing ink and embossed with black detail embossing powder on watercolor paper.  I then colored all my images with distress ink markers.
Here is a closer look at Poppies and Hydrangea.
A closer look at Autumn Blossoms and Summer Blossoms.
I kept the cards very simple of course, keeping them as the focal point.  I just added some simple stitching, colored cardstock and mounted them on either kraft or white cardstock.

The beautiful seam binding ribbon is also from Inspired By Stamping Store.
I used Spellbinders Romantic Rectangle for the base of my card, bazzil cardstock and Prima Marketing: Tea-Thyme. The gorgeous Silhouette/Cameo is by Webster.

The weekend sure does end so fast, doesn't it?!
Well I hope you had a great one and your Monday is off to a bright start.
Today...I have some FANTASTIC...AMAZING news...
I am now a welcomed member of From The Heart Design Team
Now, you may remember Designed 2 Delight, well it's the same company just a different name with a different look.  I love Faith's images and sentiments.  So it is an honor to be a part of this team.

So with that being said, let's lets get down to business shall we.
Every Monday, From The Heart has a new sketch for you to part in.
You do not need to use an image from, From The Heart or Designed 2 Delight to enter, but if you have them, we would really like to see them.
Here is my take on this weeks sketch:
I took a more literal approach to the sketch.
The sentiment is from the Graceful Sentiment Set and the patterned paper is Pure Love Paper Pack, also created by Faith.  I like really like how it all came together...And this was my first time working with digital paper.  The rhinestones are from my stash, I think they came from Michaels and the charm is from a large collection ..LOL. Oh, how I love it!!!

So there there you have it.  I hope that you will join us this week, for a chance to win $5 GC to the From The Heart Store.  Make sure to check out the rest of the amazing cards created by the rest of the team.

I love you so much

Hello...hello-
I am so happy that I am able to post today.
I have been down for the count with one butt kicking migraine.
It had me in bed for three days...YES... three days.
To top this off, I am coughing, I have the chills, loss of appetite...etc.
So what does that all sound like?  The FLU...

So I'm feeling a little better...but I'm just happy that I work ahead and this card was finished earlier in the week.  Or else...well...there would be no posting for me today.
So let's get to it.
Today at Sentimental Sundays we have a great challenge for you this week.
I hope you aren't tired of seeing red and hearts..
This weeks theme is all about LOVE!!
We are being sponsored by Simply Betty Stamps and we got to play with some amazingly gorgeous stamps.
Today, I am playing My Funky Valentine Betty.
And the inside of the card.
Isn't she the sheekish thing you've seen?!?! I love everything about her...From her layered coat and ruffles, to the rivets in her hair and on the chocolate box.  Super gorgeous image.  The sentiment is from PTI and the paper is from MME.

So I hope that you will join us this week and show us some love and see all the amazing creations the design team created for you as well.  Trust me, you won't be disappointed.

IBSIC #45: Just For You

Hi everyone-
What a beautiful day today ended being.
We ended up taking the boys to the park and then stopped for some ice cream.
Talk about ruining their appetites before dinner. LOL

So today is Thursday and that could only mean one thing around here.
I love this weeks color combo!!
I had to retake the photos several times though, since I am trying out some new backgrounds for picture taking.  I love the white backgrounds, but I want something new.
So anyways...Here is the card I made using the above picture inspiration.
I love how this all came together so well.
The patterned paper is from Glitz: Happy Travels.
The jute twine, I got sometime last year and I can't seem to get my hands on anymore! :(
Check out the shaker box.
I used the sentiment and the dotted circle from CUTE CIRCLES.
I used my spellbinders to cut out the circles.
Then I stamped the sentiment on cream cardstock, with ColorBox Chalk: Toffee.
Added foam around the circle, to create the separation I need.  Added a few beads from my stash, placed the acetate circle cut out on top. Added a seam binding bow and a pearl brad to finish it off.
------------------------------------------------------
Please upload your card/project to your blog or online gallery. Leave a link to your project using the linky widget at the bottom of this post. When uploading to online galleries please add IBSIC #45 to your post.
At this time ALL products (stamps, paper, dies) are welcomed with our challenge. You do not have to incorporate an IBS stamp set or flowers.
We love to leave you sweet comments, but Word Verification slows the process down. Please consider turning Word Verification OFF and leaving Comment Moderation ON!
